Pwork - Intranet For WordPress

The first thing you need to do when you want to install a new WordPress plugin is to login to your site admin page. Once there, go to Plugins -> Add New. Click "Upload Plugin" button and upload the zip file from your local hard drive.

1) General

Blocked Roles: Select which user roles will NOT be allowed to access the application. For more information about WordPress user roles and capabilities click here...

If you need to edit default WordPress roles or add new ones, you can use User Role Editor plugin.

Custom URL Slug: "Your site url + slug" is the url of the app. Default URL slug is pwork. You can change it with any other keyword but please keep in mind that the url must be unique. All Urls which contains this word will redirected to Pwork.

Logo: Upload your own logo.

Primary & Secondary Colors: You can change the skin color with your brand color.

Background Color: Background color of the right content area.

Email Notifications: If enabled, users will receive notification emails that they have enabled in their profile settings. Pwork uses WordPress' core email functionality to send emails. Therefore, if you are having trouble receiving emails, please contact your hosting provider.

You can use WP Test Email plugin to test whether your WordPress installation is sending mail or not.

Live Notifications: If enabled, the script checks for new notifications with AJAX every minute and shows new notification counts in the sidebar menu.

Demo Mode: Front-end save and publish functions do not work in demo mode. Don't enable it on a live site.

Custom CSS: If you are familiar with CSS, you can use this field to add your custom CSS codes to the front-end.

2) Announcements

Announcements: If you are not going to use the module, you can disable it.

Add Announcement: Choose which user roles are NOT allowed to add new announcements.

Number of Announcements: Max. number of announcements to show on announcements page.

3) Forum

Forum: If you are not going to use the module, you can disable it.

Add Topic: Choose which user roles are NOT allowed to add new topics.

Number of Topics: Max. number of topics to show on the forum.

4) Projects

Projects: If you are not going to use the module, you can disable it.

Add Project: Choose which user roles are NOT allowed to add new projects.

Number of Projects: Max. number of projects to show.

5) Events

Events: If you are not going to use the module, you can disable it.

Add Event: Choose which user roles are NOT allowed to add new events.

Default Event Color: Default color of the new event.

Calendar Locale: You can choose from supported languages.

Number of Events: Max. number of events to show on my events page.

6) Users

User Directory: If you are not going to use the module, you can disable it.

Exclude From Search: Choose which user roles to exclude from user search results.

Avatar Image Upload: Allow users to upload their own avatar images from settings.

Show Roles: Show the user role on the user profile page.

Show Registration Date: Show the user registration date on the user profile page.

User Card Info: Choose what user information to display on the Users page.

Number of Users: Max. number of users to show on user directory.

Sort Users By: The order of users on user directory.

7) Messages

Messages: If you are not going to use the module, you can disable it.

Send Message: Choose which user roles are NOT allowed send and receive messages.

Delete Old Messages: By default, messages older than 365 days are automatically deleted. To disable it, enter 0.

8) Files

Files: If you are not going to use the module, you can disable it.

Upload File: Choose which user roles are NOT allowed to upload files to the file library.

Number of Files: Max. number of files to show on file library.

Users can drag and drop widgets to change their order and enable/disable any widget on the dashboard.

You can use this module to share company news, updates, and announcements. Posts can be published or edited from both frontend (Pwork App) and backend (WordPress dashboard). Tags can only be added from the dashboard.

You can use discussion forum to foster communication and knowledge sharing. Topics can be published or edited from both frontend (Pwork App) and backend (WordPress dashboard). Tags can only be added from the dashboard.

This is the place for teams to collaborate on projects and track progress. Projects can be published or edited from both frontend (Pwork App) and backend (WordPress dashboard). Tags can only be added from the dashboard.

If you choose "Anyone can join", everyone can join the project by clicking the following button on the single project page;

Members can post comments to activities and complete tasks. They also receive email notifications about project updates.

An events calendar helps you to manage and organize events, meetings, and tasks. Events can be published or edited from both frontend (Pwork App) and backend (WordPress dashboard).
